US air strikes in Libya
TRIPOLI - fighter aircraft of the United States (US) carried out air strikes against militants ISIS in western Libya. As a result, 40 members ISIS killed in operations targeting suspected terrorist attack in Tunisia last year.

of city of Sabratha, Libya Hussein al-Thwadi said US aircraft air
strikes hit a building in the district of Qasr Talil where foreign
workers live. He said more than 41 people were killed and six wounded. The death toll could not immediately be confirmed, as quoted by Reuters on Friday
(02/19/2016).
A US military officer said that among those targeted in the airstrike was Noureddine Chouchane. Chouchane believed to be involved in a terrorist attack at a Tunis
museum and beach resorts Souse that killed dozens of people in the past
year.
"We will assess the outcome of this operation," said Colonel Mark Cheadle, a spokesman for the Pentagon's Africa Command.
